Kissimmee, FL – The USSSA Pride ended a prolonged slump and took their frustration out on the hot Chicago Bandits Saturday evening at Pride Park in Kissimmee, Florida. Wasting no time Pride leadoff hitter and Olympic Gold Medalist Kelly Kretschman drilled a Jennie Finch (3-1) fastball deep over the fence in right center field igniting what would be an offensive explosion by the struggling Pride. Amber Jackson followed one batter later sending another Finch fastball flying out of the park. Finch looking to stop the onslaught walked Oli Keohohou, preferring instead to face Pride 2nd Baseman Courtney Bures. Bures quickly made Finch pay and promptly sent Finch’s next pitch sailing deep into the bleachers in left centerfield.
