USSSA Pride Lose series finale to Team Canada, 2-1

Viera, FL (June 26th, 2021)- Tonight featured our LGBTQ night at Space Coast Stadium where the USSSA Pride wore specialty jerseys that are being auctioned off on eBay. All proceeds benefit the onePULSE foundation.

Odicci Alexander was in the circle in the last game of the series against Team Canada, pitching four innings giving up two hits and two runs. Alexander let up both runs in the top of the second inning with Canada rallying with two out to score their only runs of the game. Jailyn Ford came in relief in the fifth inning, shutting out Canada once again. Ford now has 11 innings pitched without letting up a run.

Jessie Warren answered in the bottom of the second with a leadoff home run to cut the lead in half. This is Warren’s third home run in three straight games. The Pride had their chance to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh, with runners on second and third with one out but were unable to come out with a victory.
