NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 6, 2017) – National Pro Fastpitch announced a new partnership in the category of customizable eye black and battle paint, with EyeBlack. The partnership, which begins immediately, makes EyeBlack exclusive as the “Official Eye Black of the NPF”.  EyeBlack is the industry leader in eye black products that are designed for athletes of all ages and abilities.

EyeBlack has been a licensee of NPF since 2013, but this marks the first year the company is an official sponsor and supplier. This relationship also marks the first time in the history of the league, for exclusivity in this category.

The arrangement will allow EyeBlack exclusivity to provide the eye black strips and BattlePaint players wear on the field. EyeBlack will provide players and teams customized eye black strips featuring the team’s logos as well as BattlePaint, which is eye black grease, in team colors.

“Working with National Pro Fastpitch, the most elite level of softball competition in the world, is a perfect fit for EyeBlack,” stated EyeBlack CEO, Peter Beveridge. “We couldn’t be more excited to align our company and products with the NPF. The NPF is a great organization that works hard every day to make softball more popular and fun.”

“We are proud to announce this partnership and category exclusivity with EyeBlack,” commented NPF Commissioner, Cheri Kempf. “We truly appreciate EyeBlack recognizing the value and influence of the league and our athletes.”

In addition to the league-wide relationship with NPF, EyeBlack currently holds an individual endorsement contract with NPF player Sierra Romero of USSSA Pride and has also developed customized eye black for Monica Abbott of Scrap Yard Dawgs and retired Chicago Bandit, Jennie Finch.

To lead off the relationship with NPF, EyeBlack will have a presence at the 2017 NPF College Draft, slated for late April. Attendees will get a good look at the new customized NPF products as well as some samples to take home.

NPF players are expected to report to their respective team markets throughout the month of May for preparation for the upcoming 2017 season. The season leads off June 1st and will conclude in late August with the Championship Series.
