Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza joins USSSA Pride for 2021 season

VIERA, FL. (June 15, 2021) – The USSSA Pride has signed University of Arizona outfielder Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza for their 2021 season officials announced today.

The hit that punched Arizona softball’s ticket to the 2021 NCAA Women’s College World Series is just one of the ways Palomino-Cardoza will be remembered at Arizona. Earning two All-American honors as well as Pac-12 All-Defensive Team and All-Pac-12 awards are just a few others.

Pride General Manager, Don DeDonatis Sr., commented “With a lifetime batting average of .356, an OBP of .452%, 69 homeruns, not to mention a .992% fielding percentage, Alyssa’s athleticism is a huge addition to the team”. She has played for the best. First with the Batbuster organization and Coach Mike Stith, and then the University of Arizona and Coach Mike Candrea, this left-handed hitter is probably the most prepared collegiate player and ready to compete at the next level,” said DeDonatis.

Coach Mike Candrea is quoted as saying “She’s competitive, she’s a great teammate and she is one of those kids you pull for”.

Well, the Pride is pulling for you too Alyssa and we can’t wait to see you further your softball career in a Pride uniform.

Alyssa will join the Pride in their home opening series vs Team Mexico June 15-18th at Space Coast Stadium.

The Prides entire 2021 season schedule, including special themed days, can be found on their website at www.usssapride.com and all games are streamed live on USSSALive.com
