The USSSA Florida Pride’s Ashley Charters paid a visit to Apopka High School Softball team known as the Blue Darters. The Blue Darters are at the tail end of their season heading into the crunch time of possible post-season play. This is the point in the season where a lot of high schools are looking to make it to district and regional play and hopefully fight for the state championship in their division. Ashley Charters was able to talk to the Blue Darters prior to their practice touching on a few points surrounding the opportunities available in the National Pro Fastpitch and how amazing the competition is at that level. The girls asked a few questions about winning a national championship in college and what it took to get to that point. Overall, Charters was able to give a few motivational pointers on pushing through this point in the season and reaching the team’s goals of winning a state championship.
