Oklahoma City, OK — Women’s Professional Fastpitch adds its fourth franchise, located in Dallas, Texas, which is set to begin play in 2023. Major League Baseball legend Brandon Phillips is leading the charge as its sole owner.

Phillips’ baseball career was one for the ages, beginning in 2002 with the Cleveland Indians. He became one of the best second basemen in baseball during his tenure with the Cincinnati Reds, stretching from 2006-2016. Phillips won four Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, one Silver Slugger award, and was selected to three National League All-Star teams.
