Game 2:

“Williams Lifts Huskies With Two Home Runs

A solo home run by senior Nikia Williams in the top of the ninth with two outs gave UW a 7-6 victory over Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore., Saturday afternoon.

‘”Our team is a big puzzle and we were able to put the pieces where they belong today,” said Williams. “We competed faster and longer and that’s what allowed us to finish.”’

“…Williams (Mission Viejo, Calif.) hit her first of two home runs on the day in the third. In the sixth, UW tied the game as Faglay hit a two-run home run.”
