Three Huskies Earn All-Region Honors (5/17)

“STARKVILLE, Miss. – After six huskies earned All-Pac 12 honors this week, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced their All-Region team as well and three of those Huskies were included in the Pacific Region selections.

“Senior Nikia Williams represents UW on the first-team, while senior Kimi Pohlman and sophomore Kaitlin Inglesby were awarded second-team honors.”

Game 2:

“Senior Kimi Pohlman walked (Sammamish, Wash.) and sophomore Victoria Hayward’s (Mountain View, Calif.) sac bunt advanced the runners with one out for senior Nikia Williams. Williams (Mission Viejo, Calif.) was hit with the second pitch of her at bat, loading the bases for Inglesby.”

Game 3:

“Senior Nikia Williams (Mission Viejo, Calif.) gave the UW some insurance runs in the fourth with a three-run home run to center.”
