Pride Host Cleveland Series

Viera, FL- (June 23, 2019) The Pride will be playing at home for another week at the Space Coast Stadium!

They will be hosting the Cleveland Comets in a four-game series. The first pitch will start June 24th and the series will continue through Thursday June 27th. All games will start at 7:00 pm EST and fans can watch the games LIVE all summer long on FLOSOFTBALL.com

Last week the Pride dominated on their home turf. Winning all five games of the series against the Aussie Peppers. They played a double header on Thursday June 20th due to a rain delay the previous night. Feeling confident at home, the Pride allowed the Peppers to only score a total of two runs throughout the series. After this past week the Pride are on fire, going on an eight-game winning streak.

Pride Players to Watch:

  • Bianka Bell: Bell is coming off a hot week vs the Peppers with a AVG of .750. In that span she racked up 7 RBI’s. Four of those RBI’s came from a walk off grand slam in the first game of the double header from thursday.
  • Jolene Henderson: Henderson is looking to continue her dominance in the circle this week after throwing a complete game shut-out. Allowing only 3 hits and totaling 6 strike-outs, she got her second win on the season.
  • Allexis Bennett: Bennett had a week to remember making two insane diving catches. One of them making sports center top 10 plays, being the #2 play for thursday night.
