Viera, FL– (June 7, 2018) The Pride are packing their bags for the first time in the 2018 season and are headed to Tri-C Field to face the Cleveland Comets. The three-game series will begin on June 8 and conclude Sunday, June 10.
This past week the Pride defeated the Aussie Spirit in a six game series outscoring the Spirit, 52 to two. The Pride also won their only game against the Beijing Eagles to improve their overall record to 7-0. In the past seven games, the Pride offense leads the NPF in batting average (.359), RBIs (52), and runs scored (53) while the Pride pitching staff has totaled 46 strikeouts with a 0.30 ERA. Pride pitchers have only allowed two earned runs in 46 innings and only 16 hits in 149 appearances.

- Megan Wiggins: Currently leads the league and the Pride in runs (10) and triples (2). So far, this season Wiggins is hitting .455 with nine RBIs.
- Chelsea Goodacre: Goodacre leads the Pride and the league in RBIs, with 10. This season she is hitting .478 in the seven games played.
- Sierra Romero: Currently leads the league in on base percentage (.615). On the season, Romero is batting .565 and leads the Pride with 13 hits which puts her fourth in the league.
- Jessica Burroughs: Burroughs is currently 3-0 on the season. She leads the NPF and the Pride with a .44 ERA, with 14 strikeouts and one shutout.
