Pride Win Four Straight at Home

VIERA, FL. (June 21, 2019) The Pride are home for their fourth straight win of the 2019 season, against the Aussie Peppers! 

The USSSA Pride secured their fourth home win at the Space Coast Stadium with an 8-0 victory over the Aussie Peppers in the fourth game of the series.

The USSSA Pride got off to a great start, scoring 2 runs to end the first inning.

Pride held the Peppers to 0 runs to end the 2nd inning with a 2-0 lead.

Amanda Lorenz hit a 3-run homerun in the bottom 4th inning to bring the score up to 5-0.

Two more runs were scored in the bottom of the 4th inning, bringing the score to 7-0 to start the 5th.

The Peppers were unable to procure and runs to try and shorten the gap between the two teams.

The score remained 7-0 until the bottom of the 5th inning when the Pride scored one more to finalize the game at 8-0.

In the circle and getting the win for the Pride was Paige Parker. Parker pitched four innings, only two hits allowed and struck out one Pepper.

The Park Planet Player of the Game was Amanda Lorenz, as she hit a 3-run homerun, bringing in three additional runs for the USSSA Pride.

Saturday June 22nd, the Pride take on the Aussie Peppers for game five of the series at 7:05 P.M. ET at the USSSA Space Coast Stadium.
