USSSA Pride Accept #Chillin4Charity Challenge

chillin4charityKissimmee, FL-July 1, 2014- The USSSA Florida Pride joined the #Chillin4Charity movement Saturday night at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. The #Chillin4Charity cold water challenge campaign is a national movement that started in the women’s basketball community and has spread throughout the sports world, including the softball community. All proceeds from the challenge benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

On June 28th, the entire USSSA Pride team accepted their challenge from former Pride coach and current LSU head coach Beth Torina . Following their game against the Chicago Bandits, the entire team jumped in the swimming pool located beyond right field at Dell Diamond.
