Viera, FL– July 30, 2017-The 2017 season is winding down with only twelve games left of regular season. Of those twelve games, the Pride will be back at USSSA Space Coast Stadium for nine. They will be kicking off the month of August with a two-game series against the Texas Charge on August 1st and 2nd at USSSA Space Coast Stadium.
The Pride have maintained their first place standing since June currently leading the league with a 29-8 record. In thirty-seven games, the Pride offense has scored 191 runs, with 42 home runs, 174 RBI and 301 hits. The Pride pitching staff has totaled 219 strikeouts with a 1.85 ERA. In their last series played, the Pride swept the Racers in a four-game series, outscoring Akron 30-9.
As of July 12th, the Pride have an overall record of 5-3 versus the Texas Charge this season. The teams will meet for the final time this August before the postseason begins with game one set for a 7:05 PM (ET) start time on August 1st.
