USSSA Pride Take on Cal Poly in Fourth Game of Fall Tour

The game ended with a final score of 9-7.
The Pride took game three against CSUN with a final score of 9-7 Saturday afternoon.

Los Angeles, CA- The Pride faced CSUN for their third exhibition game of the Fall Tour on Matador Diamond, the home of Matador softball. They took another close game in seven innings with a final score of 9-7.

Retired Pride player and CSUN Director of Operations, Natasha Watley, had this to say about the match-up between Matador softball and USSSA Pride, “I think it’s important that the league keep showcasing that there are opportunities to continue playing beyond college. By playing each other, the CSUN girls get to see that firsthand; the possibilities of continuing their careers on the field!” Watley will be returning to Matador Diamond at the beginning of 2016.

Tonight the Pride will be facing Cal Poly Softball on Bob Janssen Field at 7PM (PT). Unlike the other Fall Tour match-ups, tonight’s game can be followed along on Stretch Internet. The game will be announced by broadcaster Dave Grant starting at 6:45 PM (PT) and will feature live stats, streaming video and play-by-play. Click here for all appropriate viewing links.

Following the conclusion of the 2015 Fall Tour this Wednesday, the Pride will continue on east with USA Elite Select to instruct in various Fall Qualifiers as well as a few more All-American Elite Camps. The Pride will make their final stop of the Fall Tour on October 21st at Fresno State University. If you are on the west coast be sure to head out and support. Tickets for the final Fall Tour match-up can be purchased at the Bull Dogs ticket office for $5. There will be no phone or online purchases.
